1. Skin preparation

Skin must be clean, dry, and free of any oils or residue before application.

Wash the application area gently with water and dry thoroughly. There should be no traces of cream, oil, SPF, makeup, or other cosmetic products on the skin, as these can reduce adhesion or affect the final result. If the skin is irritated, freshly shaved, broken, or overly sensitive, wait until it has fully calmed down before applying.

If you have very dry skin, do not apply moisturizer immediately before application. The area must remain completely dry and smooth.

2. Remove the protective film

Before applying, carefully remove the transparent protective film from the front of the tattoo.

Avoid touching the printed design with your fingers as much as possible. Oil or moisture from your hands can affect the transfer quality and final result.

3. Apply the tattoo

Place the tattoo adhesive side down on the chosen area. Make sure it is aligned correctly — once placed, do not shift it.

Using a damp cloth, pad, or paper towel, evenly moisten the entire back surface of the tattoo. Distribute pressure evenly across the whole area so the design transfers consistently. Leave the tattoo to absorb for approximately 30 seconds, or slightly longer for a larger design.

Do not press only the center. It is important to moisten all edges and the fine details of the design.

4. Remove the backing paper

Peel the backing paper away slowly and carefully.

Start from one corner and check that the tattoo is staying attached to the skin. If any part has not yet transferred, do not force the paper off. Re-moisten that spot gently and wait a few more seconds. Once the transfer is complete, let the skin air-dry naturally and avoid rubbing the area.

Immediately after application the design may appear very light or nearly invisible. This is a natural part of the development process.

5. What to expect after application

After the initial application, the tattoo will not appear at full intensity straight away. The design develops gradually.

First changes are usually visible after approximately 12 hours. A more pronounced effect typically appears after 24 hours, and the full result generally develops within 24 to 48 hours. For some skin types, final color development may continue up to 72 hours.

Development speed and intensity depend primarily on:

  • skin type,

  • placement,

  • body temperature,

  • friction from clothing,

  • contact with water, sweat, and cosmetics.

6. Aftercare

During the first hours after application, keep the area as dry as possible and avoid unnecessary friction.

For optimal development:

  • avoid rubbing or treating the area,

  • wear loose clothing overnight to minimize color transfer,

  • limit excessive sweating for the first 24 to 48 hours,

  • do not apply moisturizers, oils, or sunscreen to the area while the tattoo is developing,

  • do not rub the area with a towel or use exfoliants.

Once fully developed, gentle handling will help maintain the appearance of the tattoo for longer.

7. How to extend longevity

The tattoo typically lasts longer on areas less exposed to constant friction, frequent washing, and sweat.

Longer wear is supported by:

  • applying to clean, dry skin,

  • choosing a low-stress placement,

  • gentle washing without scrubbing,

  • avoiding exfoliants, oils, and heavy friction,

  • limiting prolonged soaking in hot water.

Areas such as fingers, palms, wrists, or places with frequent clothing contact may wear down more quickly.

8. Common application mistakes

The most frequent cause of a poor result is inadequately prepared skin or removing the backing paper too quickly.

Results can be affected by:

  • oily or heavily moisturized skin,

  • insufficient moistening of the entire surface,

  • contact time being too short,

  • shifting the tattoo during application,

  • friction, sweating, or contact with cosmetics shortly after application.

9. Warnings

For external use only. Do not apply to irritated, broken, or sensitive skin. Avoid contact with eyes and mucous membranes. Discontinue use if irritation occurs. Keep out of reach of children. A patch test on a small area is recommended before use, especially if you have sensitive skin or a history of skin reactions.

10. Frequently asked questions

Why does the tattoo look faint after application?

This is normal. The design develops gradually — full intensity appears only after several hours.

When will I see the final result?

In most cases within 24 to 48 hours, sometimes up to 72 hours depending on skin type and placement.

Can I apply moisturizer after the tattoo?

Not during the development phase. Creams, oils, and other products can affect the outcome.

Why did the tattoo develop unevenly?

Usually a combination of oily skin, uneven moistening, movement during application, or friction shortly after transfer.

Where does the tattoo last longest?

Generally on areas with less friction and less contact with water, sweat, and cosmetics.
